Virtual reality-based human computer interface (HCI) designed to facilitate a form of exposure therapy for individiduals who hear distressing voices. The structure of the simulation serves the purpose of mediating tension between voice hearer and voice, allowing for an adaptive relational pneumonic to emerge (as opposed to an unbalanced relational process such as one characterized by an omnipotent voice commanding the voice hearer).
